Boycott Nike

All right, never mind the last entry. I’m out of that state of mind already. Just take it as… something written out of pure boredom.

With 17 more days to Christmas, this is my wish list:

1. That lecture captain dead. Yes, I still wish he was dead. Everyday. Well… if you can’t pour kerosene into his computer monitor and make it explode when he switch on, on Christmas Eve, then, at least bless him and bless me. I am seeing him for another 6 months. (Click here)
2. The Creative Zen Micro 5GB (Black)My current Sony MD can no longer keep up with my needs. I need something that can store more music on the go. This baby is beautiful and neat. Take a look (click here)
3. The Samsung E600C Phone My current phone is so old and outdated. Time to get a new one. With a camera, Colour screen, Tri-band and world time. It’s a nifty little phone I need to go onboard. (Click here)
4. A 17inch LCD Screen MonitorIn order to prevent revenge [read #1]. I will have to change mine as well. Besides, the current screen I am using is so old that I lost count… it should be in the Pentium 2 era. (Click here)
5. An online bookstore Gift Certificate More often than not, the books I want have to be specially ordered from overseas. (Click here)

Boycott Nike

I don’t know if you seen the latest Nike basketball ads. But anyway, the series of advertisements is an insult to the Chinese culture and the Chinese pride.
Throughout the ad, all Chinese characters are being defeated by the NBA player. What is Nike trying to imply? Are they trying to say that the Chinese is a bunch of losers? The scene with the US dollars is flying around; the scene is a serious insult to the five thousand years old Chinese culture. How dare these Americans put their filthy money with the rich Chinese culture? All in all, the whole series of ad is a propaganda thought the mass media. US government and politics show no respects to the Chinese and therefore even their industries are too answering the call of the government.

Through these ads you can clearly see the attitude of the Americans towards the Chinese. It is a form of racial prejudges.

If you are a Chinese, or at least identify yourself as a Chinese; BOYCOTT NIKE. If you support Yao Ming, buy Reebok. Not Nike.
